Founder Bio 

Hi—I’m Tim Windhof, the coach behind Soccer Black Box Advantage.

I grew up playing in the German academy system and have since coached at every level of the game: ODP State Coach, College Coach, Club Director, and grassroots mentor. I hold a C-License from US Soccer and German coaching credentials through the Trainr Academy.

I’ve helped hundreds of players find their next level—on the field and off.

What I saw over and over again? Good players stuck in the wrong role. Talented athletes overlooked or not properly developed. And parents confused about where their player really stood.

Even when feedback was given, it was often vague or generic—boilerplate phrases like “needs to be more aggressive” or “work on first touch” that lacked the context or detail to actually help.

Sometimes, there was no evaluation at all—just assumptions based on minutes played or a coach's subjective preference.

That’s why I created this service: to offer professional, position-specific feedback that gives families the clarity and direction they need.
